A Two-Day Industry–Academia Innovation Programme.
Where Industry Challenges Meet Student Innovation
Innovate & Elevate 2026 is a two-day innovation and entrepreneurship programme organised by Allenhouse Institute of Technology (AIT), with joint funding from the institute and Innovation Hub, AKTU. It brings students together with industry professionals, entrepreneurs and mentors to work on real-world challenges and develop practical solutions.
Day 1 | Panel Discussion and Idea to Startup Workshop
The day begins with the inaugural ceremony and a leadership address. A five-member panel
will then discuss how ideas and prototypes can grow into sustainable ventures. The Idea to
Startup workshop will help students work through the next steps: understanding a problem,
checking whether a solution is useful, shaping a product or service, and presenting a business
idea.
Day 2 | Founder–Student Interaction and Prototype Exhibition
Founders will share their experiences with students, including the challenges of developing a
product and building a venture. Shortlisted student teams will then present and demonstrate
their working prototypes at the exhibition. An expert jury will review the projects, followed
by awards and recognition for selected teams.
The programme is designed to bring classroom learning closer to industry needs and startup
practice. Up to 30 prototypes will be shortlisted for the exhibition.
From Problem to Potential Startup
From Prototype to Profitable Startup: Building Sustainable Ventures in Emerging India
A five-member advisory panel will discuss how students can take an idea or prototype closer to a
viable business. The conversation will cover identifying a real problem, understanding users,
improving a product, assessing its feasibility and finding the right support to take it forward.
Panel members
From Idea to Startup: Building a Sustainable Product Business
Workshop Facilitator: Mr. Ayush Singh, Founder, Bhaarat Hemp Agro Private Limited
This practical workshop will take students through the early steps of building a product-based
business. Using hemp-based products as a real-world example, Mr. Singh will discuss how to
identify a problem, understand customer needs, shape a product idea, consider sourcing and
production, test an early prototype and prepare a basic business model.
Students will use these steps to outline a product idea and present it as a short pitch.
Co-Founder & CEO, AMA Herbal Group
Dr. Yawer Ali Shah will share his experience of building a business around natural dyes and
sustainable textile solutions. The interaction will give students a closer look at how an idea moves
into product development and industry use.
Students can ask about understanding market needs, working with manufacturers, bringing
sustainable products to customers and the challenges founders face while growing a business.
Shortlisted student teams will present and demonstrate their working prototypes to the jury,
founders and industry representatives. Up to 30 prototypes will be selected for the exhibition.
Each shortlisted team must bring a working, functional prototype to the venue. The jury will
consider the relevance of the problem, innovation, feasibility, functionality, scalability and
potential impact. Basic Arduino or sensor projects, or simple combinations of ready-made
modules, may not be shortlisted unless they show substantial innovation or a clear real-world
application.
Students may participate individually or in teams of up to four members. Awards and recognition
will follow the jury evaluation.
