Counselling As per AICTE Approval Process Handbook 2024-25
B.Tech. I Year
Passed 10+2 examination with Physics/ Mathematics/ Chemistry/ Computer Science/ Electronics/ Information Technology/ Biology/ Informatics Practices/ Biotechnology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies/ Entrepreneurship
Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together.
OR
Passed D.Voc. Stream in the same or allied sector.
The Universities will offer suitable bridge courses such as Mathematics, Physics, Engineering drawing, etc., for the students coming from diverse backgrounds to prepare Level playing field and desired learning outcomes of the programme
B.Tech. Lateral Entry (to Second Year)

Passed Minimum 3-years / 2-Years (Lateral Entry) Diploma examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category and from the institution recognized by BTEUP or equivalent.

Passed 10+2 examination with Physics/ Mathematics/ Chemistry/ Computer Science/ Electronics/ Information Technology/ Biology/ Informatics Practices/ Biotechnology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies/ Entrepreneurship

MCA I Year
Passed any graduation degree (e.g.: B.E. / B.Tech./ B.Sc / B.Com. / B.A./
- Voc./ BCA etc.,) preferably with Mathematics at 10+2 level or at
Graduation level Obtained at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of candidates belonging
to reserved category) in the qualifying examination.
(for students having no Mathematics background compulsory bridge course will be framed by the respective University/ Institution and additional bridge courses related to computer subjects as per the norms of the concerned University).

Preference should be given to the candidate who appeared in the Entrance Examination JEE Mains (Current Year) /NTA and eligibility as mentioned above conditions of Counseling..
Secondly, by the merit of the candidates in qualifying examinations as per the eligibility criteria as mentioned above conditions of the Counseling.

Firstly by the qualified candidate of CUET UG Current Year and eligibility as mentioned above conditions of Counseling..

o be eligible for counseling at Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Educational qualification: Pass 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized board .
- Subjects: Pass 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology/Biotechnology/Technical Vocational subject.
- Minimum marks: Obtain a minimum aggregate of 45% marks (40% for SC/ST category candidates).
- Entrance exam: Have a valid score in JEE Main or CUET UG.
- Admission to specific courses: Meet the entrance exam requirements for the course you're applying for.
- Admission to postgraduate programs: Have a minimum of 50% in the corresponding undergraduate degree.
The eligibility criteria for admission to the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA) at Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University (CSJMU), Kanpur, are as follows:
BBA
To be eligible for admission to the BBA program, candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination with a minimum of 45–60% marks from the CBSE or UP board.
BCA
To be eligible for admission to the BCA program, candidates must have passed the 12th class or equivalent examination with a minimum score as prescribed by the university. They must also have studied Mathematics as a subject in the 12th class.
